Securing a job or getting employed in Nigeria is hard, except your are connected I mean you have someone in government to help you. Again losing your job is as easy as saying “A” when you take the wrong steps.. below are seven office habits that can get you fired from your company..   Greed: The road to success is very long and stumpy and is not good for those that want it all and at once. Such people are very quick to jump on a new project but they cool down as soon as the project stops being new. The other side of greed is trying to take what doesn’t belong to them. They might be telling you they are responsible for something someone else had done. GLUTONY: When you see yourself spending an hour instead of five minutes surfing through web, reading news, and chatting to your friends instead of working – you need some control. Sometimes it is hard to stop and you do not notice how the time flows by. To control this you might need a radical approach – either block access to the sites that consume most of your time, or check how much time a day you spend on various sites (this can be done by special programs). WRATH; When you take a look at how two different people react to the same negative situation you will most likely see two options – the “shell” and the “thunder”. The first ones prefer to hide in a shell and wait until the conflict is gone trying to avoid any confrontations. The last ones chose to burst and yell and cannot control their anger. We cannot say which approach is better, as both of them are dangerous. However, the last one will definitely catch a lot of attention and might lead to a much faster solution. If you are the person that can sometimes get a little carried away proving a point you should at least try to lower your voice and slow down you speech. This way you will be heard a lot better and people will not be seeing your emotions only. In addition to that, try not to hold a grudge if you did not get what you wanted as this might be poisonous for your work focus. Instead, make a journal and write down the situation from such a point – “when I am the boss, I will never…”. This approach is much more constructive and will help you move along much faster. ENVY: It is harder for some of us to be happy for your colleague when they are getting promoted. You may begin to wonder “am I worse?” or “why is he/she better than me?”. If you notice yourself thinking of these questions, you should immediately change them with others like “how can I improve?” This approach is a constructive way for you to move on, and do not forget to congratulate your colleague with the promotion. LUST:When you are fixating on a job someone else has and want to do it all to get it,this might be described as ‘lust’ at the workplace. While at some measure it will be nice for you to be focused on something you want. However, over fixating on this might not only damage the relationships at the workplace, but will lead you to miss out on many other opportunities out there. LAZINESS: If you think that sloth is your thing, you know that there is no universal cure from it. The only thing that will help you fight it is to be interested in your work and motivated. But it is very hard to do that if you are at the job every day and most of the time you have to do routine tasks. Instead of searching for motivation in everything around you look for it in yourself. If you change your attitude and remind yourself of it constantly – it will be easier to stay motivated and avoid sloth. PRIDE: Perhaps one of the most dangerous sins one might find at the workplace is pride. If you begin to feel yourself better than your colleagues the moment you got promoted you should reconsider your attitude.   Today over 8 million businesses has collapsed because of  lack of  these understandings and more than 1billion businesses in Nigeria are struggling to get back to their earlier state(previous condition)but still couldn’t.

CAPITAL: Money is the most essential requirements of a successful business and it’s the heart of every business, many people have failed today because they mishandled their capital, while most couldn’t start a business because they have no capital. One have to be sure of the starting capital before thinking of a business. 
Your capital(money) serves as a middle man between you and your dream business. 
 
POSITION: This refers to where your shop or office is located, wrong positioning can make you regret your decision, the ideal place to rent a shop or office is where you can be found easily, this is usually on the road, in the street, and crowded areas of the market etc. 
 The thing is, except your kind of business do not need a display shop, you should not rent a shop that is very hidden because is will affect your growth as a trader and cause big harm to your capital. 
  If you are starting your business in the large market, investigate and find out if the line of business you want to venture into is assigned a line in that particular market and rent a shop there. 
 
PRESENCE: In every business, presence is highly necessary. You don’t leave your establishment in the hands of someone who do not know the value.

The success of an advertisement lies mostly in the headline. The 
headline should attract the reader and make him read the rest of the 
advertisement. The headline should be simply catchy and various key 
points should be embedded when deciding on the headline for the ad.
 
The advert headline should catch attention of the eye at the first 
glance. Words in headlines should act as tags for the advertisement. It 
should say it all about the content that follows. If a company is 
selling reasonably priced furniture, the headline of their advertisement
 can be something like ‘Durable furniture for less price’.

This headline will attract the right customers who are on a look out 
for durable furniture as well as low cost furniture. If the customers to
 be reached belong to a category that are interested in decorating their
 house with beautiful furniture and aren’t concerned about the price to 
get the right look, then the headline can be ‘Change how your house looks by our oriental furniture’.

Anything other than the prospects should not be included in the 
headline. If both men and women can use a product, both of them should 
be referred to in the title, missing out even one of the category is 
like losing a huge number of potential customers. The title should be 
instant product seller. According to a research, five times more readers
 read just the headline when compared to those who read the complete 
advertisement.

So it will be a waste of money and time, if the title of the advert 
isn’t good enough to sell the product. There can be a possibility that 
the content of the ad isn’t strong enough. All the harm can be undone by
 having a powerful headline.

The headline should be centered on the product and not the company 
that is selling the product. Most people get it wrong here. The 
customer’s interest should be reflected and he should feel that he is 
directly addressed. Start with more personalized word like ‘You’ and not ‘We’. So if the client specified on mentioning the company’s name, don’t start the sentence with it.

write ‘Got a message to deliver instantly? Try STVMobile’. Never forget 
to mention the name of the product in the headline. The product name

If inculcating all these factors have made the headline long, it 
should be remembered to write the product advantages in bold. Add 
Picture in the advertisement, it will be a good complement. As a picture
 speak thousand words. But care should be taken that the headline should
 say some part of the story and the Picture should say the rest.

Don’t repeat the headline or the picture. Too much of cleverness 
should not be applied to design a headline. There are nearly five 
hundred advertisements in newspaper especially on weekends. A regular 
reader reads the headings of all of them. He will be able to classify 
between a false heading and a genuine heading. Don’t make false promises
 or give false information in the headline, it will jeopadize your ad. 
Over smart headlines are good for award competitions, but don’t really 
work with the savvy customers.

The headline should give out a positive feeling to the reader. 
Negativity should be totally excluded as it not only creates a negative 
impression but the mind will also be not receptive friendly. It 
sometimes confuses the mind and it interprets a negative meaning of the 
message being delivered. Confidence should be reflected in the headline.

Don’t include any doubtful words like “if” and “but“. Conditional phrases are a strict no. The sentence should be in present tense, instead of past or future.

the security lies in the fact that you are your own boss. You run the 
show and don’t have to worry about getting let go. 
 
3) Networking: Entrepreneurs are communal creatures.
 We love to meet each other, swap stories, and learn from each other’s 
experiences. Your circle of friends and acquaintances always grows when 
you become an entrepreneur, as many founders need others to lean on to 
survive and talk about the challenges only known to them. 
 
4) Doing good: While this isn’t exclusive to 
entrepreneurs, it’s definitely a perk. You control where your company

6) Becoming an expert: This point goes along with 
mentorship. Regardless of what you do as an entrepreneur, if you stick 
with it, you’ll probably become very good at it. And this gives you a 
sort of soapbox, so use it. You’ll have the chance to be interviewed for
 your expertise, write about it and get to spread your message. 
 
7) Skills: People ask me how I learned about Web 
design, Mobile Marketing, SEO, social media, pay-per-click, PR and all 
the other marketing techniques I utilize. I tell them that I was forced 
to learn them, otherwise I wouldn’t survive. These skills will be 
invaluable throughout your life. 
 
Financial independence: Let’s be honest, this is 
probably the biggest reason people get into business for themselves. And
 that’s a good thing! You should want financial independence. However 
you define financial independence – retirement stockpile, unlimited cash
 potential or having the money to buy what you want — entrepreneurship 
can allow you to achieve it. Trust me, money doesn’t buy happiness, but 
it does make finding happiness much easier. 
 
9) Create jobs: There’s nothing like the 
satisfaction of knowing you’re responsible for the success of your 
employees. Your ideas provided them the opportunity to earn a living, 
provide for their family and fulfill their own dreams. 
 
10) Your brand: Being known for something is awfully
 enjoyable. People may start referring to you as the marketing guy, or
